What it does
File Monitor helps its owner review file-check results and report freshness in a private dashboard. It is for the owner's personal monitoring workflow.
Google connection
The Google Sheets reporting connection is designed to send reports from the owner's virtual machine to an authorized private Google spreadsheet, then display report data in the private dashboard.
When authorized, the connection uses Google's drive.file permission for files created by the app or explicitly selected and shared with it by the owner. It does not request general access to every file in Google Drive.
Privacy and control
Report data is used for the owner's monitoring workflow, not sold or used for advertising. Google access can be revoked from the owner's Google Account.
